GX Framework

Section IIIA: Global Voice

The easiest first step to move inbound sales from Lucky to Intentional is to give your brand a global voice.

AI wants to murder my daughter!

娘を寝かせた。

I put my daughter down.

“Put _____ down.” means to murder _____.

ANY native speaker would catch this immediately & replace it with the correct phrase:

“I put my daughter to bed.”

AI translation is improving, but it still needs a native speaker to do the final check.

Better yet, why waste time translating something that non-Japanese audiences don’t need?

Do NOT use AI

It’s free and easy to use,

but VERY risky without a native double-check!

お世話になっております。

Directly translated is: “Thank you for your support”

But if you send that to a non-Japanese person, it will be confusing and cold.

It’s better to customize your message like:

“Thanks for making a clear presentation, John, I really loved the new images!”
